Watch: Emerging Leaders Series on the Competitive Pathway for Junior Players

AAPITA's third Career Education Series panel brought together experienced voices to discuss success on the competitive junior pathway. The conversation covered building a support team, communication strategies, on-court identity, and practical tips for parents and coaches supporting junior players.

Panelists included Samantha Crawford (former NCAA coach and professional tennis player), Danielle Gooding (Director of Community Tennis at USTA and high-performance expert), and Ronit Karki (junior Wimbledon finalist, former top-16 ITF junior player, and incoming Stanford University student-athlete). Vania King, 2-time Grand Slam champion, former top-50 singles and top-3 doubles player, tennis consultant, and AAPITA co-founder, moderated the discussion.

The panel provided direct access to accomplished coaches, players, and high-performance experts who understand the demands of competitive junior tennis and the unique experiences of AAPI junior players on the pathway to college and professional play.
