Vania king

Vania is a former professional tennis player, reaching career high rankings of #3 in doubles and #50 in singles. A two time Grand Slam champion, Vania won the 2010 Wimbledon and US Open Women’s Doubles Championships. She serves at the Executive Director of Serving Up Hope, a non-pofit organization that provides tennis programs for underserved children around the world, consultant for the Women’s Tennis Association and Women’s Tennis Benefit Association, and Director at Large of the USTA.

Lopa Patel Zielinski

Lopa is Managing Director and EVP, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for Corporate Governance at HSBC USA/LATAM. She brings extensive experience in corporate governance, board counsel, and securities and financial regulation, and was named to the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business in 2022. A former NCAA Division I player at Lehigh University, Lopa was a two-time All-Patriot League selection. She serves on the Board of Directors of USTA Eastern.

Perren wong

Perren is Managing Director and Head of Private Banking Operations at Morgan Stanley in New York. He serves as Chairman of the Board and Delegate of USTA Eastern, and at the national level, chairs the USTA Section Delegates committee and serves on the USTA Budget committee.

Ryan comes from a distinguished tennis family in Southern California and was a high level college player and coach. He is the Tournament Director at the ATP/WTA events in San Diego, General Manager of Barnes Tennis Center, one of the largest tennis facilities in California, and CEO of Youth Tennis San Diego, a 501(c)(3) running tennis outreach for thousands of youth. Ryan also chairs the USTA Southern California DEI Committee.

Ryan Redondo

Jessica is a professional tennis player, Olympian, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the highest ranked American player, reaching career high rankings of #3 in singles and doubles. She has won 2 WTA singles titles, 5 WTA doubles titles, is a three-time Grand Slam singles quarterfinalist and a Grand Slam doubles finalist. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Jessie has four siblings and three pups.

Rajeev is a professional tennis player, Olympian, five-time Grand Slam champion, and former #1 doubles player in the world. He has won 35 ATP Tour titles, including 3 in singles and 32 in doubles, and was a Silver Medalist in Mixed Doubles at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, partnering with Venus Williams. Rajeev is the founder of EntouRaj for Kids, a nonprofit promoting youth tennis and funding high school teams in Indiana, where he resides.

Dana is a professional wheelchair tennis player, two-time Paralympian, and 2022 Wimbledon Wheelchair Doubles Grand Slam champion. The first woman to win a major wheelchair singles title, she is the top ranked American wheelchair player, reaching career highs of #9 in singles and #4 in doubles. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Dana is currently completing her doctorate in Audiology. Born in San Diego, she loves traveling, crafting, and escape rooms.

Dana Mathewson

David is the USTA committee chair for Advocacy and serves as Board President for the Montgomery County Tennis Association, the largest CTA in Maryland. He is also a Senior Marketing Consultant at WJLA-ABC7 TV in Washington DC, a Sinclair Broadcast Group station. A USPTA certified professional, David is a dedicated advocate for tennis, social justice, and DEI initiatives across the DC metro area.

Kathleen is a Real Estate and Finance attorney with the global law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth, where she has served in numerous leadership positions. She is the current President of the USTA Foundation and a frequent writer, speaker, and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession and beyond. Her work has earned recognition from the National Diversity Council and the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce-Southwest.

Andi is a digital strategy, content production, and platform development leader, advising companies shaping what's next across media, entertainment, and emerging tech. She also served as Vice President and Editor in Chief at Tennis Channel and Pickleball TV, overseeing content production, websites, streaming, mobile apps, and social media. Earlier, Andi spent six years overseeing digital content at the WTA and worked as a Film and TV executive at major studios in LA. She received the Cynopsis Top Women in Media Award, and Broadcasting & Cable Women in the Game Award, along with awards for Best Apps & Websites from top orgs.

michelle yu

Michelle is an Emmy Award winning journalist, news anchor, broadcaster, emcee, and author. She has worked with notable broadcasting outlets including SportsNet New York, NY1, and most recently Law and Crime TV. She is a recreational tennis player and her favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal.

Christine has over 10 years of experience in tennis operations and management. She is the Director of US Open Player Operations and Services, where she oversees player operations, manages 200 staff members, and leads cross-functional collaboration across departments. Previously, she held senior roles at the USTA in Pro Tennis Operations and at the University of Illinois. Christine holds a Master of Science in Recreation, Sport and Tourism from the University of Illinois.

Christine stromberg

Devi is Co-founder of TokkiSports/Tokkitennis and the Tokki Catalyst Foundation, and Director of Strategic Accounts at Silicon Valley tech firm Conviva. With a 20-year career across Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations, she has helped grow the mobile and streaming video industries through companies including Disney, LG Electronics, and Accedo. A Southern California native who grew up on public tennis courts, Devi earned a full scholarship to Manhattan College, where she played Division I tennis.

Alexis colvin

Dr. Alexis Chiang Colvin is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs at Mount Sinai. A board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgical treatment of knee, shoulder, and hip disorders, she is a graduate of Princeton University and received her medical degree from Mount Sinai. Dr. Colvin serves as Chief Medical Officer for the US Open and was previously Chief Medical Officer for the United States Tennis Association.

Helen brings 35 years of sales experience in the high-tech industry, including 15 years in senior sales leadership at top companies such as Autodesk, HP, Cisco, VMware, Amazon Web Services, and Databricks. Known for her commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity, she championed mentorship and organizational growth until retiring in 2023. An avid tennis player for over 18 years, Helen has organized community tennis events and led fundraising initiatives for children with disabilities.

Mike is Director of Business Operations for Starbucks U.S., where he has spent 16 years across leadership roles spanning Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii. He previously spent 16 years at The Home Depot in retail leadership. Eight years ago, Mike founded the first Pan-Asian Partner Network Chapter at Starbucks in Southern California, which has since grown to 14 chapters across the U.S. and Canada. He resides in California with his wife Vickie and their two sons.

Samantha Crawford is a former professional tennis player, the 2012 Junior U.S. Open Champion, D1 NCAA coach, and a marketing strategist. Her experience spans nearly every level of the player journey, from junior competition through the pro tour and into college coaching. A University of Florida graduate, Samantha serves as both a mentor for AAPITA's Emerging Leaders Mentorship Program and its Executive Director.
