Watch: Inaugural Career Education Executive Panel

AAPITA launched its inaugural Career Education Series in May with an executive panel featuring four AAPI leaders shaping the tennis industry. The conversation covered career journeys, the role of identity in professional growth, strategies for navigating and leading in industries where AAPI voices have historically been underrepresented, and where genuine opportunity exists for AAPI professionals today.

Panelists included Andi Chu (Sportech Executive; formerly VP and Editor in Chief at Tennis Channel), Alexis Colvin (Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai and US Open Chief Medical Officer), Ryan Redondo (CEO of Youth Tennis San Diego and Taktika Padel), and Christine Stromberg (Director of US Open Player Services and Senior Manager of USTA Pro Tennis Operations). Michelle Yu, Emmy-award-winning journalist and author, moderated the discussion.

The panel is the kickoff event for a broader Career Education Series designed to build a leadership pipeline for the AAPI tennis community.
